Spring into PR: How to Add Public Relations to Your Marketing Mix

In the spirit of springtime renewal, savvy SMB owners like you can harness the power of public relations (PR) to thrive and grow. While marketing and advertising are essential, PR can elevate your business to new heights. PR helps boost brand visibility, attracts new customers, impresses investors, and nurtures community trust.

Our latest blog article digs into everything SMBs need to launch a PR initiative. Discover how to:

  • Prioritize your marketing, advertising, and PR
  • See your business through a journalist's lens
  • Identify your business's newsworthy stories
  • Build a media list
  • Create an online newsroom
  • Craft a press release
  • Prepare for media interviews
  • Track the results of your PR efforts

A well-planned and executed PR campaign can help your business achieve its goals and establish lasting relationships with key media contacts. However, keep this in mind — PR is a marathon, not a sprint. With dedication and a strategic approach, your business can see the fruits of your labor by capturing the attention and respect of your target audience.

Alaniz in the Wild:
Diversity Alliance for Science

East Coast Conference

At Team Alaniz, we believe life sciences and clinical trials should be inclusive at every level, from patients to medical care professionals to industry vendors. That’s why we’re proud to be a diverse supplier that helps improve life sciences by bringing underrepresented individuals into clinical research trials.

Alaniz Marketing is privileged to make contributions to groundbreaking clinical research studies that aim to overcome healthcare disparities. A great part of our marketing efforts focus on the enrollment process in brain health research studies. Through these efforts, we not only help accelerate the search for treatments but also help increase racial and ethnic inclusivity so future discoveries will benefit everyone.

Last week, Roxanne and Andrew embarked on a journey to Newark, N.J., for the Diversity Alliance for Science (DA4S) East Coast Conference to network with like-minded professionals. There, they connected with industry leaders committed to furthering diversity in the sciences and ending healthcare disparities.

DA4S is on a mission to create a platform that enables small and diverse businesses to flourish within the life science and healthcare industries. And they work to promote inclusive procurement practices in corporate, academic, and governmental entities. In alignment with this mission, the conference offered a wealth of networking and relationship-building opportunities.

By participating, Team Alaniz not only deepened our understanding of the challenges faced by our clients but also strengthened our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in healthcare.
